Hiking through the forests of southeastern United States holds an especially sacred place in my heart. Throughout my childhood, my mom and I bonded a lot by walking trails through the woods near our homes in Lithonia, Georgia. Secondly, my best bud, and first pet, Tuxedo and I bonded most by hiking the Blue Ridge mountains.
